From Sturgis, South Dakota, the son of a gold miner, to serving our country in uniform and leading global businesses, Russ Medeiros’s life has been built on hard work, service, and accountability.

Russ is an Army Infantry Combat Veteran who served as a Sergeant and later as a commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard. He is a Keller resident, business owner, and Texas A&M MBA committed to serving his community with practical, results-driven leadership.

Russ and his wife have been married for 37 years and have three children, including a daughter who graduated from Keller High School and is now a local aesthetician, and a son who is an Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. Their family has also experienced the loss of a son during the COVID-19 pandemic, a difficult time that brought an even deeper focus on family and what truly matters.

During his Coast Guard service, Russ held leadership roles both afloat and ashore, including duty as a Deck Watch Officer aboard a Coast Guard cutter and in operational command center assignments. He also helped stand up the first homeland security watch, supporting early coordination and response efforts following the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. His service included missions focused on search and rescue, counter-narcotics enforcement, immigration operations, and maritime security.

Following his military service, Russ built a career in executive leadership and global operations management. He held senior roles with TechnipFMC, TE Connectivity, and the American Bureau of Shipping, where he led international teams, managed complex operations across multiple regions, and was responsible for business performance and long-term growth. He led organizations with hundreds of employees and managed operations responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. Throughout his career, he has been known for his ability to bring people together, build consensus on complex issues, and deliver practical solutions in challenging environments.

Today, Russ owns Innovative Renovations & Remodeling, a Texas-based company serving residential and multifamily communities across the state, including the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Through his business, he works directly with property owners, managers, and residents, giving him hands-on experience in planning projects, managing budgets, coordinating contractors, and solving real-world infrastructure and housing challenges.
